Excellent restaurant and music entertainment on Sunday evenings

Sicher nicht mehr lange ein Geheimtipp. Ich war jetzt 4x hier zu Gast und immer sehr zufrieden. Der Wirt spricht auch deutsch.

BURGER.
OMG!!! Honestly!!!
And I do NOT say this lightly.

This, in my opinion, was one of the BEST BURGERS I HAVE EVER HAD.

Ever. Full stop. No exaggeration.
I know food.

I complain about food.
This matters.
Now I know what you’re thinking…

“Alright already… WHERE IS IT?”
Relax.

What, you’re in a rush? Eat a biscuit.

I’m sitting at Gooseberry Baan & Bistro.

And if you don’t know Kenneth, the owner and chef, let me say this clearly.

The man knows EXACTLY what he’s doing.

From sitting outside…
to the ambience…
to the moment the food hits the table.

It’s calm.
It’s confident.
It doesn’t need to shout.
Many chefs could learn from him. Many.

And mind you… many chefs could also learn a thing or two from Mrs Salty 🤣🤣.

Now… the burger.

Both my son Ricky and I had the Gooseberry Burger, topped with a fried egg and bacon.

And listen to me carefully now…

THIS. WAS. AMAZING!!!
The bun.

The beef patties.
The balance.

Served on a wooden board with proper fries and a fresh salad.
Nothing silly.

Nothing trying too hard.
Just done RIGHT.

Now, because I’m
Jewish and it’s practically my job to complain even when I’m happy…
I’ll say this..

I personally missed a mustard kick.

An English mustard.
Or even a bit more of a mustard punch from Mrs Salty 🤣🤣.

But that’s ME.
That’s personal taste.

And honestly? It did NOT ruin a damn thing.

So if you’re in the neighbourhood, do yourself a favour.

Head to Pratumnak Soi 5.
Go all the way to the bottom, turn right, and they’re on the left-hand side, Gooseberry Baan & Bistro.

I promise you this.
You will NOT be disappointed.

This rating is for the new restaurant at Gooseberry Baan and Bistro. It is a very promising new restaurant in town. It occupies a very good location with good service and excellent dishes. The restaurant also offers a respectable wine list with reasonable prices. Gooseberry Baan and Bistro is a welcoming addition to the restaurant scene in the greater Pattaya area.

Perfect chill place by the sea. Could be good idea to make birthday or itger private party there.Friendly staff and accommodating owner. Food was good 👍

Nice place on the beachfront with cosy atmosphere with spaceous place outside and large aircon are inside. We'll worth a visit. High end food and decoration to mid class prices. Recommended for a good meal or just a drink enjoying the view of the beach and sunset. Friendly staff and owner. 🙏😊

Super location französische und Thai Küche nicht zu teuer und mit einem wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer alle super freundlich, Sonderwünsche werden erfüllt. Eine grosse Auswahl an Wein Champagner und Cocktails ich liebe es.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch next to the beach. The food was perfect, the staff was attentive and the value for money was very good. The friendly owner came to our table to say hi.
